Surpassed Every Expectation. I cannot say enough about our romantic weekend stay at CLM. Greeted by a friendly staff member, we were shown around the mansion and given a brief history of the historic premises before being shown to our room. The room, Ophelia, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bathroom was modern, with a pedestal sink, heated floors, and a large "rain" shower with side jets. The 3-course breakfast was gourmet (don't miss the warm sticky buns!) and perfect. The "extras" such as champagne in our room, all-day cold lemonade, iced coffee and snacks were well-appreciated and made for a homey feeling. I would return to CLM in a flash. Top-notch.
