You have to check out this store!. What a great store!! New management, friendly service, and lots and lots of great finds. When my mother passed they helped me through the process at a difficult time. They sent a truck to pick up all of her items and they were all sold quickly.…
Where's my check, where's my print?.
I consigned a few items here including a really nice signed print. I stopped by every now and then but never saw it on display. When I asked about it they said it probably got sold and to stop by at
the end of the month for a check. There was no check. They then told me that it would be in the next months "check run". Again, no check. I don't know if they lost it or what, but I never got any compensation for it, just a big runaround.
They also treated me like I was a nuisance for asking about what happened to the print. Thumbs down...…
Don't sell anything here!. Buy here if you want... but don't sell anything here. You will never see your money! I used to buy and sell here all the time.. but the new owners.... don't trust them. They are not friendly to begin with... but I left several items with them in January anyway to sell. They posted them on their website.. and sold them in February. I have never gotten my money. When I called they told me they never sent out checks... you had to pick them up or send them a SASE. ( can't afford a 42 cents stamp after taking a 50% commission??) Anyhow... so I went it... the owner gave me some story about all the checks having to be reprinted and I would have to come back. When I asked why my check which should have been sitting in a file waiting for me since February had to be reprinted she got very huffy and angry with me. SHe finally agreed to a SASE which I filled out while I was there. She said the check would be in the mail the next day... its been a month.. .it hasn't arrived. I have emailed them but gotten no reply. I guess the next step is small claims court.…
Good Inventory, Nice Finds. This place has a lot of really nice things. When I walked in I wasn't sure what to expect. As a 20-something woman I'm used to getting ignored in stores but was greeted then left alone to browse (which i prefer). Other consignment stores that I have been to have higher-then-new prices for their "vintage" items, so I was sure I wouldn't be buying anything. I saw several things I was instantly interested in, but assumed would be out of my price range. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything I looked at was very fairly priced. The customer service was polite and friendly. I had a brief chat with the owner, who was also very friendly. Since I live just across the bridge, I will definitely be frequenting this store.…
very bad customer service. Recently I visted Cherished Possessions to make an offer on an item that had been in the store for a very long time. I too, spoke to a young woman who I expect is the assistant manager. I made a very fair offer yet the assiastant manager did not have the courtesy to even call me with the consignors answer. I then sent two follow up emails and again, not a single response. I buy tons of stuff annually (to my families dismay) with price points of $50 to many thousands of dollars but I will never buy anything from this the place again. People that are consigning items at this store should reconsider as the staff is just plain rude and I , for one, will not buy anything from them again. They are doing a huge disservice to their consignors.…
