Best Consignment store in Southern Maine

I shop and consign at Cherished Possessions and have found the staff to be very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The new owner can be a bit brusk but is honest and straight forward. The store is arranged beautifully and items are displayed well. If they don't have what I want, I just keep going back til I find it. Prices on furniure are half of what regular furniture stores charge. Sometimes even less than that. It is good to bring your own help to move and load any large purchase but they will hold that for a few days so you can arrange a way to get your item. All in all it is well worth the trip or many trips

Lacking customer service skills

I just read the other review (low Class). It is funny because I went in there and had a very simular expirence. Customer service is an extremly important part of any business and cherished possessions definitly lacked them. Five years ago it was owned by different owners and was completly different. I see many christmas tree items there outragously priced. It is too bad you can't find bargains anymore.

Low Class

I have consigned several items at cherished possessions. They sold my items for a lower price than the agreement. When I went to talk to the owners a very young girl claiming to be the assistant manager was not helpful. In the past couple of years I have seen many very nice employees leave suddenly. I wonder why? It's too bad that what once was a fun place to shop now has only high priced items and an unwelcome environment!
