Charming, modern 6-room bed and breakfast is a Portland gem.. Awash in bold hues and a modern-classic New England warmth, the West End Inn is an ideal bed and breakfast for a Portland stopover. Located on a picturesque, quiet, residential street, the inn is a short walk from the shops and restaurants in downtown. The three-storied house holds six rooms, each with private bathroom and distinctive stylings. Innkeeper Sara Stempien prepares a satisfying hot breakfast in the mornings (accommodating any dietary restrictions), and add-on amenities include an in-room artisan chocolate plate or access to the local fitness club.
