They will never touch my car again!. I am the owner of a 2001 z28 Camaro. I had to have the steering rack replaced, the work was done at Quirk Chevrolet. Last weekend I took her on the highway about 25 miles. I smelled oil burning. I get home and park.The next morning after a rain I see a rainbow coming from my car. I bring it to another dealer and they tell me that a bolt, a rack mount bolt was cut and left sitting on top of the rack right under the oil pan. it put a hole in the pan that was now leaking oil. Quirk looked up the paper work but said because it was a repaired over a year ago they would do nothing. They will never touch my car again!

I wish I had checked before I used them.
I have yet another felt so poorly served at a service department,high priced ,surly and slick come to mind .
The service dept. is a stay away , over a hundred dollars
to tell me I had a cut wire and yet a hundred plus more to
fix it. I removed the car to another service firm, not a dealer.

The Service Department overbills. If you're going to get your car serviced at Quirk be very careful... they overbill. Get a detailed quote in writing before you give them your keys. If you sign something without a price on it they can and will charge you more than you thought you were going to have to pay. If you challenge them and ask why they're charging you so much they will respond by smiling and telling you how much extra work their mechanic had to do in order to complete the work on your vehicle. But just because the service writers are smiling and they're nice to you doesn't mean they're not overbilling you. BE VERY CAREFUL if you get your car serviced here! Or better yet... don't get your car serviced at Quirk.
