avoid!. Avoid this place at all costs. I live in San Diego and my entire family lives in Maine so I have to order all my flowers online and have them delivered to them. When my younger sister became sick with cancer I ordered a get well flower for her online. Not only did they deliver to her neighbor’s house instead of her place, they sent some fern plant with no flowers. Okay, perhaps a simple mistake right… well after calling them to request an exchange I was informed by the owner that they hold the right to substitute with something else if they don’t have what you paid for in stock. I was also told that if I had read the fine print on their website I would have known that they had a disclaimer that states that they don’t have to call you to inform of a change. Had I been informed of the substitute, I would have obviously opted for something with a pretty flower and not a green plant, after all, who orders a green plant from a florist. No exchange or refund was granted and now after 10 years of using Minott’s, I will never use them again. A little customer service goes a long way, this place has horrible service. I will be getting married this summer in Maine and will ensure that our flowers are also purchased somewhere else.

Best Florsit in Portland. Minott's has really unique arrangements and the staff is wonderful! I love all the great house plants, awesome store!
