What a Great Place.
My camera broke and I was not able to shoot any pictures on my vacation.
This shop loaned me a camera to shoot and they had my camera fixed the next day ! Only $ 45.00 for the repair.

Go to Pierre's of Exchange Street in Portland Maine. I would like to reccommend pierre's as i brought in my laptop and they fixed it at a reasonable price they were very courteous and attentive Thank you Pierre!!!!
I recommend avoding this retailer for digital camera questions or issues. Pierre's Of Exchange Street caused damage to my girlfriend's camera by erroneously selling us a product they shouldn?t have. They highly recommended and sold us a cleaning kit that ended up being specifically recommended against by the manufacturer of her camera. Her camera is now damaged and the quality of her pictures diminished due to the scratches it inflicted upon the lens. Pierre's, who claims to be an expert on the digital cameras, should be to blame for this. They claim expertise when there appears to be little in place, at least in this instance. They sold us something they shouldn't have just to get the sale. A business should not recommend products they are not fully aware of, especially products that can have damaging effects on expensive personal and professional items. I would recommend using a more trustworthy, brand-authorized retailer that will recommend products they are familiar with, as opposed to a retailer such as Pierre's that will recommend products they know they can make quick sale on.…
