The former Underground has really gone downhill. Some staff are VERY surly, mostly barely 20-something patrons and low quality drinks. DJ's are ok. The Saturday DJ is the best. Bar seems to cater to the 'young and shirtless', rather than to patrons who can actually afford drinks. Occasional drag shows are nothing more than grotesque. Save your money and to go Ogunquit.

Former Glitz is GG-Gone

The Underground used to be a fabulous place to go and dance. You could sing kareoke and enjoy fun times. There were always special events it was glamour and glitz. The bar now is hardly ever clean. The lighting is very dark. The glamour once there, worn and tired. The Underground should be a monument to Gay culture and treated as such in a town where there is such a high population of Gay Men and especially high ratio of Lesbians.
