Lobster in Maine the way it's meant to be!. Love this place. I was raised in New England and grew up eating Lobster. Mabel's serves it fresh, delicious and no frills. Fantasic. Don't miss the blueberry pie either!!! I see why the President loves this place. Eat a light lunch if you plan to go to Mabel's!!! Head and shoulders above the Pilot House which I would never return to!!!! Mabel's is the spot.

Low-Key Food Fresh!. We happened upon Mabel's on a rainy evening in Kennebunkport. We were hungry for some down-home seafood and Mabel's delivered. Entrees include a simple salad doused in delicious dill dressing and a side order. The surf and turf included a teriaki chicken breast and 2 large shrimp scampi in garlic butter - wonderful and large. My husband had the seafood bake. He didn't look up from his meal except to tell me how good his food was. Deserts all looked sinful, we opted for the chocolate fudge cake a la mode with hot fudge - rich! Our waiter, Jeff, was friendly and relaxed. He let us nkow that Mabel's caters to former President Bush who summers in the area.
