Tupelo trees are an unexpected find and there's plenty of room to wander.. In Short
Situated between Old Orchard Beach and the Saco River, it's part of a 117-acre preserve, complete with tupelo trees. A boardwalk through the dunes leads to the beach. t's a good spot for kids because the water drops very gradually. You can wade way out, without ever getting your bathing suit wet.
