Best lobster in Maine!. Nunan's is exactly what the name implies - a simple "hut" with picnic tables, copious amounts of paper napkins, and the best lobster I have ever tasted. No reservations taken - you give your name when you arrive, and they call you outside as soon as your table is ready. Simple - "clam bake" dishes: chowder, steamers, lobster, burgers and dogs, steak, a few other selections, and the best home-made pies (apple and blueberry), and "brownie deluxe". Adequate wine list as well. Great food, great service, and they even provide a sink in the middle of the hut for those os us elbow deep in lobster, steamer juices, and melted butter. No need to dress up - it's all about the food, and the offerings are first rate. Reasonable priced by today's standards, great for the kids, and delectable!
