Shawnee Peak is the base mountain for the skiiers of Southern Maine. Though an intermediate level mountain, it has a loylal local following. The night skiing is great. One ticket price includes day and night skiing. The trail tend to turn icy and choppy in the afternoon, but that is part of the Shawnee Peak experience, and the skiers revel in the formidable-to-some conditions.
