Re: Mulligan's for family food. My boyfriend and I eat here occasionally. The gimmick is that everything on the menu is $5 or less. It is ordinary food, but it fits almost everybody's budget.

Unfortunately I am gluten-free, and there is nothing on the menu but a salad that I can eat. There isn't any awareness on the part of the staff, so I can't count on getting a correct answer about what will be safe for me to eat.

Wednesday all day they have a "prime rib" special that is weird. The meat is very salty and tastes like it has been corned. But if you like salty you might like it.

You can't beat it.. If you are looking for a place to eat and drink Mulligan's is the place. If you are looking for place to hold a birthday party, wedding reception etc Mulligan's is the place. The food is excellent and the prices...well the prices can not be beat. If you don't give Mulligan's a try than you lose. It's not fancy because it is a bar-restaurant but the food is great and the service is top notch.
