Consistently poor customer service. My husband & I never expect good service from this tourist trap restaurant. The salad bar is it's only redemption-but the food is mediocre. The last straw was this week when we waited over 20 minutes after being seated for a waitress to acknowledge our presence. I even had to get an additional table setting because there was not enough at the table. The manager approached us without giving her name, rolled her eyes when we told her of the complaint, tried to compensate us with their tired old $10 offer, and never returned to see if all proceeded well. We have reluctantly gone in the past with friends visiting from out of state but we will never return again to this place nor recommend it to others.

Avoid the mediocrity, consistently poor service.

What can I say?. Tried the Lobster House for the first time tonight. I would expect that a place so close to fresh seafood would serve fresh seafood. I started off with the fried calamari. That was pretty decent. Their salad bar was well-stocked, but not everything there was as fresh as it could have been. My main course was steamed mussels in a white wine butter sauce with garlic. The steam coming off the mussels smelled like they had been cooked in sewer water. I had them sent back and replaced them with crab cakes which were too salty. I noticed that I was not the only one to send back the mussels. My date had the Queen Anne Haddock. This was very fishy tasting. We both felt that the menu didn't describe the food adequately. The food was not a good value for the money and I will not eat there again.
