Rabelais certainly fulfills its tagline, "thought for food," with scores of used, new and periodical publications--all related to the joyful theme of food, drink, gastronomy and culture. With shelves piled with cookbooks, essays and out-of-print tomes, the petite but bountiful shop often hosts visits from chefs, authors and academics.
