REAL bad service

Decided to have dinner on Nov 24th night before thanksgiving at Big Daddys, close to home. BIG mistake! We walked in and one of the servers notices us and said hi. We sat down at a table and waited 15 minutes before anyone approched us. When the server aproched us we ask her if she would wait on us, she said wait just a minute then we waited another 5 minutes then someone else waited on us while the other servers were just standing around talking to each other, a few of them walked by us not even noticing us. It was not busy at all. When our food came out it was cold! and was not cooked enough. We had wings and side orders. The wings were red in the middle. We tried to get the servers attention but she was no where to be found til we were ready to leave. We always go to Daddys but I thing Wllies will be our choice from now on. To bad the ounner doesn't see this. That's why the go throught so many servers and bartender. I have been ibn this business for 35 years and I have never seen such an operation of BAD servers and bartenders. You need lots of work to improve your staff. Whjat ever happen to the staff you have a few years ago???

Bad service & Bad Food

My husband and I first visited Big Daddy's about 2 yrs ago & were both very impressed with both the food & service. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I had the "Fish & Chips" & told my husband that it was the best I'd ever had. Over the past year or so both the food & service have taken a nose dive.
It's been a few months since we last visited or ordered take-out & thought we'd give it a try tonight.
I called in a to-go order & was told it would be 15 minutes. When I got there nobody knew who took the order or where it was. The staff took turns pointing fingers at each other and bad mouthing so-in-so. After about 15 minutes a nice young man named Jeff managed to help me.
So about $35 later I get home with the food only to find that the fish stunk (literally) and was obviously nowhere close to fresh. I managed to choke down a couple of my husbands wings but all of my food went into the trash!
This was our last visit to Big Daddy's, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
It's sad because they once had such a good thing going on.

go someplace else

Been going to Big Daddy's for couple years. Since last year food and service has gone down hill. Ribs used to be fresh smoked bbq and now frozen and taste like liquid smoke on them. Our last meal with guests were ice cold and baked potatoes raw. Three of the four plates were cold or missing items. Waitress blamed on cook when she should be checking and taking care of her customers. Also miss the Nascar and other racing decorations. Place is now has a cold feeling but then again it matches its waitstaff and food.

- Cons: worst service and crappy food

Pat Hannon is the shadiest character there is creeping around the Acton scene. Definatly not a person to trust or do business with. At the same time, neither is Ted's. Ted's is WAY over priced, small portions, you get served with cheat plastic silver wear that breaks.... Just not a good night. Not to mention the smell of old grease in the fryer.

STAY AWAY

Not sure where to start, a real red neck bar. Good place to go to pick a fight. Food is nothing special, atmosphere is great if you like the smell of hog exhaust.
Drive down the road to Ted's for a real meal.
