Great, Non-Pretentious Serviceâ??Great Salon!!. Here's the thing about Xclusive. It's not pretentious. So if you LIKE frilly, mod, and snotty, don't both going here. Go somewhere else and pay exorbitant prices for your cut and color. I hope your experience is worth it.

On the flip side, if you like getting personal service with a stylist that isn't rushing to get to the next client, go here. Stylists at Xclusive book their own appointments and their own time slots. Meaning, if they want to spend 2.5 hours on a cut and color, they can ... without a pushy boss breathing down their neck.

Xclusive is just like any other salon in the sense that, not every stylist is perfect. Not every stylist clicks with every client. You can have that same experience at a much pricier downtown salon. @pinky177, did you call and ask to have your color fixed? I bet it would have been done at no charge ... just based on my experience with both the stylists and the owner, they're a pretty good group of people and are highly accommodating. Or, did you just quietly leave the salon and not speak up about what you did or didn't like about your color?

Is it casual? Yeah! Which means that you can walk in and not feel completely intimidated by the super-made-up-overly-cut-and-colored stylists that are all wearing black. That's what makes this a hidden gem on the outskirts of Portland ... it's laid back nature. And their new location is gorgeous.

If you're looking for a great place where you can get a cut and color for under $100, check out Xclusive. You won't be disappointed.

WORST XPERIANCE OF MY LIFE. This was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had in a hair salon. I am a brunette and asked for some simple highlights 1-2 shades lighter than my color. I got bleach blond highlights and it looked awful

The salon itself was completely unprofessional as well. It was dirty and all the staff were wearing flip flops and sweat pants.

I had Josh for a "hair stylist" and he seemed to be really un experienced and unfriendly. I was still expected to pay for my hair and then immediately went to another salon and had it redone there. I'm sure Josh would have fixed it for me but he messed it up so badly and it took about 2 hours (for highlights) so I just wanted to get out of there asap. The owner was also not helpful and wouldn't help the situation.

Overall a 2 year old could have done my hair better

Awesome experience. Wonderful great salon with talented stylist and super rates. I got a awesome cut and color and i love it.
