Dathan Hunter Salon was a Dream Come True. Moving to Portland recently from a small town, I had always dreamed of finding a "big city salon". Dathan Hunter Salon fulfilled my hopes and then some. Coming to the salon with extremely color damaged hair, Marie went through and expertly corrected, what I'm sure would have been a color nightmere for most stylists. What most stylists would see as a daunting task to stay far away from, she saw as a challenge to be embraced.My color was outstanding, multi-dimensional, bright, exactly the shade that I asked for without wrecking my hair. Kristina took my split and frayed ends from a horror story of a cut to something sleek, stylish, and best of all, shiny. My hair felt healthy for the first time in years. Great Salon In Every Way. I moved to Portland in June and have never really liked my hair. It is very curly and I am middle-aged and beginning to show some gray. I actually love silver hair and wanted to find a way to "go gray gracefully". Not only does Laura cut and style my hair with extreme precision but the highlights she has put in my hair to help my natural gray come in naturally look so good that I don't even see any gray at all.
