We love Maxwells

Recently we visited Portland, Maine and had the pleasure of stumbling across Maxwells. My daughter and I were drawn in by their display of Be A Girl Today t-shirts. We were so happy to disccover this line of clothing. My daughter and I both ride. We had the dual pleasure of buying pottery, two new shirts -- one soccer and one equestrian and away we went!

It was truly a find.

The BEST pottery/glass/linen/soap shop in the Old Port!

With exceptional customer service and great merchandise, Maxwell's Pottery is more than just a pottery shop. There's glassware, placemats, napkins and fabulous soaps to choose from so that I can always find the perfect gift for a friend or myself when I shop at Maxwell's. I like to visit whenever I can because they are always getting in new products. The shop is so charming and bright it can lift your spirits even when you are having a bad day! Maxwell's really has it all. I love to see the new pieces of Italian and French Pottery, and of course the amazing Polish Pottery that is so popular now. I'm local so I venture in frequently and they now have the cutest sculptural Guinea Hens and Quails from Provence. They are darlings! Another fine quality of Maxwell's is that they do not buy merchandise from China; Products are made with quality in mind by some of the best artisians in the world. I strongly suggest that everyone visit Maxwell's Pottery in the Old Port!
