I love the menu here! They give you so many options that you are bound to come back to try everything else that caught your eyes. The drinks are exquisite and they don't have a problem with giving a greater amount of alcohol in your drinks. I think it is a better place for a more romantic and intimate time. But try it out for yourself!

Perfect. I had the escargots (I have not found this dish anywhere else as interestingly presented and deliciously prepared!) and the hangar steak - perfect with a sweet cracked pepper sauce. I would also recommend the lobster cake. If you can't find anything on the menu (almost impossible to do, btw) you can't go wrong with the martinis - probably the best along route 1 on the Maine seashore. The staff knows their liquor and their wines... I hear the MC mentioned from time to time, but they don't come close.

Delish!. The menu offers a mix of Italian/French and American cuisine, and judging by what the other patrons had ordered, the portions are more than adequate. I'm not part of the cholesterol watching crowd (although I should be) and will try an escargot dish anywhere it is offered, and I was glad to see it present on the menu. The serving was generous and non-traditional in the sense that the butter and garlic laden snails were presented with greens and fruit. Delish!

Just forgettable!!!. WHAT A SHAME....I have dined at Five-o since they opened a number of years ago and have always been impressed with the quality and creativity of the dishes as well as the friendliness of the staff....This has all changed with the recent owners! The first thing that I noticed upon my seasonal return was the "I'm really busy, please don't bother me" reception by the owners. It was a level of arrogance that immediately set the tone for the evening. The menu, which is written extremely well, does not live up to the flowery descriptions that evoke a sense of 5 star dining. I can only describe the meal as "snobby bar food". My dish was served to me luke warm and my server seemed "put out" when I asked for it to be sent back. My other half ordered a piece of fish that was so overcooked that it could have been used as a weapon. Their are plenty of great dining establishments in OGT but unfortunately, this is no longer one of them!!

A real treat for both of us. We stumble in on this restaurant during the restaurant's wine dinner and we were simply taken back by the way everything came together - the food, the ambience, the service and especially the way in which the owners made everyone feel so welcomed. We were in Ogunquit to celebrate our anniversary and even though this was out first time at the Five-O, the owners made us feel like a part of the family. The food was so good that we returned the next night and our we were delighted once again.

Poor service all around. From the reception, hostess, wait staff, and bus boy, the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Don't try to give any helpful feedback -- they are not interested. Too back with such a great location.
